Fun With Paper

Remember the old days when you got a train set and you got buildings with it made from paper cutouts? Well, paper’s sort of making a comeback with advances in print quality and the ability to cut architectural details to give the buildings some 3D pop.

There are many options for the paper modeler such as print your own and quite a few commercial offerings as well. I have put together a few I got off eBay from a seller named customzscales based in Ontario CA. His prices range from $6 and up and delivers within a week. His models are a cinch to construct, folds are in the appropriate places, a little white glue and you’re in business. I’ll let the pictures tell the story…

For about an inning’s work, you get 3 buildings. Touch up the edges with a Sharpie and seal with Dullcote and your finished!
