Sykesville and Patapsco Railway Club’s Open House February 7-8

The BANTRAK T-Trak gang rode up the Patapsco River valley to Sykesville to help out our friends from the S & P Railway Club. We set up in the upstairs of the Old B & P Tower that stood guard over Baltimore Penn Station’s trackage for decades. We set up a big “U” shaped layout with modules from Lauren, Leon, and the Hyland and Peck gangs. It was also a 2 Dave weekend. We were able to run the goodies we picked up the week before at Timonium and watch the big trains running outside on the B & O’s Old Main Line outside. Lots of coal headed to Baltimore for export and empty trains of crude headed back west. With all the hands present Sunday tear down went quick.
